Chapter 1.1. Accessing the test result module

Step 1: Accessing the laboratory

When logging in with user with assigned Laboratory function, the LABORATORY button will be available to you. Press the button to enter the laboratory module.

Step 2: Entering the laboratory

The listing displays the list of laboratories to which your user has been assigned and can enter.

You can further search for a specific laboratory by Laboratory ID, Name and Address with the search functions in the left panel of the screen.

You can enter any of the displayed laboratories by clicking on the record.

Step 3: Accessing the samples

To access the sample processing screen, select the LABORATORY SAMPLE button.

To edit the Laboratory information, select the LABORATORY button.

Step 4: Editing Laboratory information

To edit the Laboratory information change the presented information and press SAVE when done.

Step 1: Overview of laboratory sample

In the left panel of the Sample processing screen the Active samples are listed (including those with status QUEUED and RECEIVED), while in the right panel of the screen the finalized samples are shown (REJECTED and PROCESSED).

Step 2: Receiving of laboratory sample

Before adding results, select the samples with QUEUED status which have been physically received and from the ACTIONS, Change Status menu, change their status to:

  1. RECEIVED, if the samples are appropriate and ready for testing; or
  2. REJECT, if the samples are not appropriate and cannot be tested.

Note: Rejected samples will move to the right side of the screen as REJECTED.

Step 3: Adding test result

To add results to the test, select sample/s, select the ACTIONS menu, select SET HEALTH STATUS TO TEST RESULT and choose one of the three test results available (NEGATIVE, POSITIVE, INCONCLUSIVE).

Note: The samples with allocated results will move to the right side of the screen as PROCESSED.

Step 1: Editing sample information

Any errors in the sample information can be edited, by clicking on the sample with any status clicking on the EDIT LABORATORY SAMPLE button.

Once the editing is completed, press SAVE.
