	Step 1: Holdings in the NAITS system represent locations and/or facilities where animals are residing either temporarily or permanently. There are several ways in the NAITS to navigate to a holding of your choice. From the main screen select the HOLDINGS button to enter the holding search.
	Step 2: In the holdings search you can search holdings through a variety of identification parameters, or per type of holding. In addition, you can filter your results to narrow down the search. Once you have located the target holding click on it to enter it.
	Step 3: The general data for the holding will be presented on the screen. To navigate back to the main screen you can go through the main menu, the main screen button or through the home button.


	Step 1: You can navigate to the holding screen through the RESPONSIBLE PERSON. For how to find a keeper, please consult the Responsible persons manual.
	Step 2: Once you have identified the targeted person, you can locate the holding for which the person is responsible as keeper, herder or associated person. Click on the holding to enter it.
	Step 3: On the main holding screen, you can see all the holding relevant data. Note: If a holding has not been assigned with a keeper, associated person, or herder, it is not possible to enter the holding through the responsible person menu.


	Step 1: You can navigate to the holding screen through an INDIVIDUALY REGISTERED ANIMAL. For how to find a keeper please consult the Individually registered animals manual.
	Step 2: From the INDIVIDUAL ANIMAL screen, you can navigate to the holding using the holding shortcut. You can also switch between the holding, animal and keeper using the tabs in the upper left corner.
	Step 3: From the main holding screen, you can move between holdings in the same village using the FORWARD and BACK arrows (‹›). The holdings are stacked on basis of the ascending holding numbers and a list of the holdings in the village can be obtained from the REPORTS menu. Please consult the Reports manual for obtaining Village level PREPRINTED FORMS. You can also navigate to holdings using the RECENT option which shows the list of recently visited items.
